ARcon (ArCarnival) is an annual post NeoCon retreat hosted in Arkansas by the Northwest and Central Arkansas Design Communities of the
South Central ASID Chapter. This event is open to interior designers, architects, students, vendors, manufacturer's representatives,
and supporters in Arkansas as well as surrounding states.
ARcon includes a vendor booth trade show, allowing attendees to see the latest and greatest products and designs
that were presented at NeoCon; however, the event is not limited to just manufacturers who have a showroom at NeoCon.
All manufacturers and vendors are able to represent their company at the local level.
CEU presentations are provided, with IDCEC and AIA credit, including one over the lunch hour led by the host sponsor.
The evening is wrapped up with a two hour cocktail and entertainment reception and is a great networking opportunity for all!

STATE OF THE CHAPTER
During ARcon, the out-going Chapter President, Shawn Thompson, will be addressing the membership regarding the State of the Society and Chapter, providing an overview of the past year as well as a preview looking forward to the upcoming year. The newly elected Chapter board members will be introduced and awards will be presented recognizing Advancing and 25 year members, Chapter Service Awards and Presidential Citations.
