ANNUAL CONFERENCE
April 12-13th Chenal Event Venue
SPARK
This year's conference theme is 'Spark'. We want to highlight what inspires people in their daily lives, their sparks! In turn, we want to help give our members the tools and forethought to use their sparks to create leadership and guidance to advance the interior design profession, as well as to create a culture for future generations that elevates the human experience. Along with sparks we want to increase awareness of intentional design. To encourage collaboration and connection across our community. And most of all, to remember why we chose to be in this industry (what sparked us and what sparks us to keep going). |
DIMINISHING SPARKS
Tackling Toxicity from the Inside Out
Presenter: Kimberly Benoit
During our first Keynote we will learn how to diminish sparks that are no longer a positive light. In 'Tackling Toxicity from the Inside Out', the audience is taken on a 1-hr compassionate journey of self-discovery of their own toxic BS. In a continued conversation from Kimberly's book, “We’ve All Done It: Getting Real About the Role We Each Play in a Toxic Workplace”, every person will be challenged to consider when they were maybe, just maybe, bringing some of the FUN to Dysfunction. In this engaging workshop led by leadership expert Kimberly Benoit, you’ll: 1. De-stigmatize talking about toxic or dysfunctional mistakes as a leader 2. Gain self-awareness of how they are showing up in a current challenging situation 3. Understand options of how they might show up differently 4. Have a first step for future challenges that will inevitably come |
Kimberly J Benoit is a leadership coach & workplace toxicity expert, with more than 20 years of leadership experience, coaches, consults, and speaks for organizations needing fresh strategies to keep great leaders, unite teams, and combat dysfunction.
